Description
We present organic coriander seed essential oil for supplements, obtained from the plant Coriandrum sativum. In international practice, the product bears the name Coriander Seed organic essential oil for supplements. The product combines an entirely organic composition of plant origin. The composition does without preservatives, and the place of colourants remains unoccupied. The purity of the composition stems from organic cultivation, which excludes synthetic fertilisers and chemical protection of the crops throughout the entire growing period. Growth takes place in plants of the Apiaceae family, which comprises the umbellifer spices originating from the European-Mediterranean range of the Old World. The range also extends over Bulgaria, where our raw material grows. Bulgaria provides the seeds, and its organic farming maintains the natural fullness of the future liquid. The liquid remains mobile under normal conditions and shows a colourless to slightly yellowish tone in daylight. The light tone comes from the seeds, which during steam distillation release mainly colourless volatile substances, while the heavier colouring parts remain in the raw material itself. The colourless liquid gives off a sharp aroma. The aroma combines sweet softness with spicy density, and a light citrus touch completes the olfactory profile of the ripe fruits. The olfactory profile remains unchanged, as steam distillation separates only the volatile constituents of the seeds and therefore preserves the purity of coriander oil. The oil retains its sharpness and its sweet-spicy profile, along with the pale tone and mobile state of the liquid.

Storage

Store organic coriander seed essential oil in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Maintain a temperature of +5°C to +20°C to prevent oxidation and changes in quality. After opening, limit the amount of air in the packaging, and as the contents decrease, transfer the remainder into a smaller, clean and dry bottle. Use only aluminium or glass bottles for dietary supplements, preferably made of dark glass, which protect the essential oil for supplements from light. Close tightly after each use so that air and moisture do not penetrate. Observing these conditions preserves the quality and safety of the product for a longer period.
